London Corporate Photography
I feel very fortunate as a photographer that I get the opportunity to visit many interesting buildings across the city that I might otherwise never get the chance to see. When I was commissioned to provide London corporate photography at the Italian Embassy for a finance event, I was very happy as it’s not every day you get to peek inside.
Guests of the event were welcomed by the Italian Ambassador, Raffaele Trombetta followed by a few words from Maurizio Zollo, Professor of Strategy and Sustainability, Imperial College London. Alessandra Franzosi from the Italian Stock Exchange also gave a speech which was followed by a round table discussion. The rest of the evening was spent with guests networking and enjoying champagne, cocktails and delicious Italian nibbles.
The house is very grand and was built about 1728 as part of the development of Grosvenor Square by the Grosvenor family. In 1931, Italy was granted a lease for 200 years and it now stands as the Embassy.
The Embassy of Italy in London run lots of events covering the economic, financial, cultural, academic, technological and social sectors. These public-diplomacy events provide a platform for showcasing Italian excellence and keeping abreast of the new trends that emerge in a wide range of sectors in the global hub of London. In doing so, they enhance the embassy’s diplomatic activity, its relations with other institutions, and its dialogue with UK-based bodies.
