House of St Barnabas Event Photography
The House of St Barnabas is a members’ club in Greek Street in Soho. It was the venue of choice for Given London’s 10 year anniversary work party. I was asked to photograph the party as guests enjoyed dancing and champagne into the early hours to celebrate 10 years of their successful sustainable PR agency.
As well as being a members’ club it is also part homelessness charity. An employment academy offers support and training to homeless Londoners, giving them a positive environment in which to rebuild their lives. The members’ club is non-profit-making, to help support this and other schemes. Originally a private residence of various MPs, from the mid-18th century. Its most famous inhabitant was a certain Joseph Bazalgette — widely known to this day as the man who built the Embankment. The members’ club is available for private hire and there are a range of rooms available for your party or event. The Garden room, where most of this party was held is airy, bright and nature-themed. It’s the perfect spot for a drinks reception and dancing! The space also enjoys direct access to the largest private garden in Soho.
I really enjoy photographing guests dancing and enjoying themselves and I was able to capture some fun shots at this party! If you like my bright and fun style of event photography and would like to know more, you can find all the details right here.
